I'm Tiffany, a portrait and wedding photographer serving the greater Charlotte area and... well, anywhere your session takes me. Here you'll find loads of pictures from my latest weddings and portrait sessions, along with news and special discounts, also from time to time we run contest. About Tiffany
I have always loved photography. Most of my life my walls have been covered from floor to ceiling with images of the people most important in my life. My favorites are the images that spoke to
me- capturing the memory of the laugh, the touch, or the person in their entirety. It still amazes me how everyday moments can speak novels when captured at just the right point in time. I strive to freeze the moments that matter to you- the natural smiles and genuine expressions- because these are the memories that would be meaningful in my own photographs. I believe it’s the small things in life that make your world special, and I feel blessed to have the opportunity to capture those details for others. I shoot with a photojournalistic approach, meaning I want to photograph the “real” you. No awkward poses, no forced smiles. I try to capture what makes you unique, so have fun, be crazy, and most important, be yourself. I live in the Charlotte, NC area with my amazing husband, our sweet little girl. Natural Lighting
I believe that natural lighting is superior to artificial lighting for photography in the overwhelming majority of instances. In particular I treasure the long shadows that come in early morning and late afternoon. Unless I'm shooting deep in the woods where sunlight has a difficult time getting through, I normally shoot in the middle of the day. Some dislike heavy shadowing for portrait photography, finding it very difficult to capture a wonderful image. I disagree. It is the details that make a portrait memorable. Using "fill flash" to take away the details creates a sanitized image that misses the essence of the individual being photographed. As you probably are aware now I do not have a studio and this is my reasoning why, it doesnt mean we cant get those "stuido" style moments it just means my style is unique.
About Portrait Sessions
Sessions are very relaxed and fun- never rushed. I’ve found that the best pictures happen when we try something that wasn’t planned or expected. I like to set the scene, and then step back and let you have fun so your photos will be filled with genuine interaction and spontaneous moments.
Sessions usually last between 1-3 hours, and they often include a change of location, clothes, or both. When shooting children, I am very flexible and eager to work around naps, breaks, or snacks as needed. I’m happy to do whatever it takes to ensure your session is both productive and ENJOYABLE! That’s when I’ll be able to do my job best. After your session is booked, we’ll discuss the location, clothing, and overall feel of the session that works best for you. These are not traditional portraits, so please take a look at my portfolio to make sure I’m a good fit for you.
About Weddings
As a recent bride, I understand the importance of your wedding photography. I am a helpless romantic and completely smitten by each unique wedding. There is nothing more personal, and I feel honored to bare witness to such a significant moment. It is the most beautiful and endearing tradition- declaring your love and commitment in front of those closest to your heart. Such a cherished day deserves to be documented both artistically and thoughtfully. As you look through your wedding album, I want you to feel the emotions- the bliss, the tears, the joy, the love. I want you to remember both the planned and spontaneous moments- the vows, the toasts, the laughter. But most of all, I want your album to tell your story through stunning images of genuine, sincere, real-life moments.
